Great Neighborhoods in Hamburg, NY

The Village of Hamburg
Hamburg’s Village was incorporated in 1874, and has in the past ten years undergone a resurgence in community pride and excellent dining options.
Those who live in the village can be within walking distance of shopping, dining, exercise and drink!
Village houses are of course older, but many of them are examples of fine architecture and contain desirable elements such as turrets and great light from the outside.
Our home inspector is very aware of the concerns with real estate of this age, and educates buyers about any concerns found with the foundation, electrical, plumbing or other systems of these homes.

Armor Duells Corners
Armor Duells Road stretches west of the 219, just south of the village of Orchard Park. Eventually it connects to Hamburg, but not before finding itself the center of an informal development of housing. Most of this area was farmland and woods prior to the 1960s and ’70s, but today it’s a mix of suburban homes. They mostly sit closer to the road, making for driveway maintenance an easy chore, although a number of houses in this area are set deep within the woods.
Boston State Road
Boston State Road connects the towns of Boston, NY and Hamburg together, but not before hosting probably the best neighborhood for high-end real estate in town.
Following Boston State Road to the south will lead you to Herman Hill Road, which is adjacent to North Boston.
Sherwood Meadows is located near the lake shore of Hamburg, north of Howard Rd, and to the west of Southwestern Blvd.
Its location offers easy access to the NY Thruway, the lake and the Village of Hamburg.
Ryan Homes in 2020 has actively developed homes there, where you can find houses in the $300s.
